Mental Health Today Wales programme announced

Mental Health Today Wales will be returning to the Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff on 22nd May 2019 for another national event focusing on mental health practice.

Mental Health Today Wales is a CPD-certified event for professionals and service users from different mental health sectors. The event’s aim is to help and encourage progress in mental health services by provoking discussions, improving knowledge and championing the voices of those who aren’t often heard.

This year, the event will consist of three main streams:

  • Policy and Practice
  • Children and Young People
  • Mental Health Disorders

A variety of speakers will be delivering exciting talks and discussions, with Andy Bell (Deputy Chief Executive, Centre for Mental Health), Andrea Gray (Mental Health Development Lead for Wales, Public Health Wales) and representatives from MIND, Gofal and City Hospice, Cardiff all confirmed so far.

As well as the organised talks, there will be various information stands available for attendees to access more information about mental health services from organisations such as Hafal and Hafal Crossroads.
