The CHI has published its conclusions based on their review which took place between January and June 2003.
The CHI reported that “the trust has significantly improved mental health services for service users in the Vale of Glamorgan over the past three years. However, services for users in Cardiff are located in an exceptionally poor environment in Whitchurch Hospital and are based on an out of date appraoch to care.”
