Bill Walden-Jones, Chief Executive of Hafal and John Saunders, Chief Executive of Schizophrenia Ireland were guests of Cliff Prior, Chief Executive of Rethink in Nottingham when they visited an advice line and employment/conservation project as well as discussing mutual concerns.
Bill says “it was especially interesting to compare notes with John as the Republic of Ireland is similar in size to Wales. John’s organization is at an earlier stage than Hafal in developing services but has a huge membership of clients and families. John and I are committed to learning from each other’s experience. It was also valuable to discuss strategy with Cliff on the new Mental Health Bill expected any time”.
