The new edition of the Mental Health Wales Journal is now available online. As well as focussing on the General Election, which takes place on May 6th, this season’s journal includes articles on a variety of important mental health issues.
Articles in the new journal include:
• An analysis of how the Election will affect service users in Wales. The journal features an in-depth look at the policies of the main parties plus a special 2010 General Election Checklist which will help readers get the most from their local candidates.
• A feature on a Laing and Buisson report which stated that if prisoners with a serious mental illness in England and Wales received proper psychiatric care the collective cost saving per year would be £1 billion.
• A preview of Welsh mental health charity Hafal’s Road to recovery campaign which will be launched at the Senedd on April 20th.
