Measure scrutiny process begins

The Mental Health (Wales) Measure is currently being considered in detail by the National Assembly for Wales.

The scrutiny process began on Thursday 30 September when Legislation Committee 3 met to consider the Measure line by line and vote on Government and non-Government amendments which have been tabled in relation to the Measure.

When the Measure is finalised it will mean new law-making powers on mental health in Wales can be granted.
